FACULTY SCHOLAR

The  Tailored Biobehavioral Interventions Research Center will fund one College of Nursing Faculty Scholar each year.  This will provide a 25% release time for that faculty member to work on research endeavors.  To be considered for the Tailored Biobehavioral Interventions Research Center's Faculty Scholar, one must meet the following criteria and complete an application form.

  • Be a on faculty in the UAMS College of Nursing

  • Contact the Center's Director Dr. Jean McSweeney

  • Become a Center Investigator

  • Meet one of the following criteria

    • An established investigator with no previous work on individualized biobehavioral interventions

    • A previously funded, beginning or mid-career investigator who would benefit from additional pilot work to apply for an RO1-type study

    • A new investigator who has never been a principal investigator funded with a Department of Health and Human Service research project grant.
